- The installer completed but I can't find QuickFormz Designer, Data Conduit, and/or Viewer on my PC/PDA!- The Installer will allow you to check off what components of QuickFormz to install on your machine. By default, all components will be installed. Ensure that you had selected all components to be installed. QuickFormz Viewer for Palm is a Palm PRC application and can only be installed onto your Palm PDA. Back to top

- The installer completed but I can't find QuickFormz Viewer on my Palm- The installer will only install QuickFormz Viewer for Palm on your device if it was checked off for installation during the installer process (this is the default). If that was the case, it should have prompted you for the Palm User ID to install it on. Ensure that you performed a HotSync operation when prompted and that it installed it successfully on the Palm handheld (check the HotSync Log) that corresponds to the selected User ID. Back to top

- How do I find my Palm User ID? I need it to purchase QuickFormz- To find the Palm User ID (sometimes called the HotSync ID) on your Palm, go to the HotSync application.

Launch the HotSync application and the Palm User ID will appear in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

- I purchased QuickFormz but never got a registration code!- Several things may have occurred: We never received your order (even if you did get an automated acknowledgement email); The email address you used to purchase the code with was incorrect; a technical error prevented the order from completion.
As purchase orders are handled by our partners, there may be a 24 hour delay between order completion and the registration code email being sent to you. If more than 24 hours have passed since the order was submitted, please contact us with a description of your problem and your order number. Back to top 
- How do I enter the registration code?- The registration code is sent to you by email after order completion. It is used to unlock QuickFormz Viewer for Palm so that all components of QuickFormz can work together completely (Designer and Data Conduit come as fully functional already). You do not need the code to download the software. The code is entered in directly on the Palm handheld itself within the QuickFormz Viewer application, in the "Register..." menu option. BE SURE TO WRITE DOWN OR SAVE THE REGISTRATION CODE in a safe place. You will need to re-enter it if your Palm handheld is hard-reset. Back to top

- My registration code doesn't work. What's wrong with it?- Your registration code that was purchased was based on your Palm User ID that was given to us in your order. If it is not valid, several things may have caused this:
Incorrect User ID- The Palm User ID you sent during purchase does not match the one on your Palm handheld. The name submitted must be exactly the same that is registered to your device (spaces, upper/lowercase, and symbols all make a difference!). Please verify your Palm User ID. Please contact us if your submitted Palm User ID was incorrect.
Different QuickFormz Version- The code you received may not match the version of your QuickFormz Viewer. Be sure to download the latest version of QuickFormz first. Back to top

- I bought a new Palm handheld. How do I use my registered QuickFormz Viewer on that device?- If you will be using the software on more than one Palm handheld, you will have to purchase a registration code for each additional device. If you are simply replacing your old Palm handheld, you will need to ensure that the Palm User ID on the new device matches the one used for the registration code. Back to top

- I want to use QuickFormz on a multiple number of Palm handhelds. What do I need to purchase?- You will need to purchase a license for each Palm device. Please read the above answer as well.Back to top

- How do I install QuickFormz for use on multiple Palm handhelds with a single PC?- You only need to run the QuickFormz Installer once on the PC. For each additional Palm device that you'd like to install QuickFormz Viewer on:
- Please first ensure that each has been setup to HotSync properly on the PC.
- Locate "QuickFormzViewer.prc" in your QuickFormz installation folder (e.g., C:\Program Files\Lokilogic\QuickFormz) and double-click it to launch the Palm Desktop Install Tool/Quick Install Tool. You can also launch the Palm Desktop Install Tool from your Start->Programs->QuickFormz menu, then browse to this file and select it.
- In the Palm Desktop Install Tool/Quick install Tool, be sure that the desired Palm User ID is selected.
- The destination of the file should be "Handheld". "
- Exit the Tool by pressing "Done".
- Perform a Hotsync with this device to perform installation.
- You will be able to synchronize with QuickFormz Data Conduit on subsequent HotSyncs.Back to top
